Essential Cabinetry Group is seeking a Supply Chain Manager based in Rockledge, FL. You will lead purchasing, planning, receiving, warehousing, and inventory activities to support plant manufacturing and operations, while driving supplier performance and continuous improvement across the supply chain.

• Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
• At least 5–10 years of buying experience including purchasing, inventory, and warehouse management.
• Previous leadership and direct management/supervision of a team required.
• Strong planning and analytical skills.
• Strong knowledge and experience using ERP/MRP systems, managing spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain an organized process for completing work on time.
• Ability to work cross-functionally.
• Accuracy in work assignments and a strong work ethic as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead purchasing and planning of raw materials and products; manage PO entry and follow-up in ERP/MRP.
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, picking, dispatching and inventory transfer activities.
• Monitor KPIs such as price variance, inventories, shortages, supplier performance.
• Develop supplier relationships and implement cost reduction and quality initiatives.
• Coordinate new product qualification with quality team and ensure supplier quality compliance.
• Provide forecasts and collaborate with Sourcing, Product Planning and Operations teams.
• Champion continuous improvement in supply chain processes.

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for purchasing and planning raw material and products to support plant manufacturing and operations and managing the Receiving, Warehousing, Picking, Dispatching and Inventory transfer activities and personnel for the plant. Key activities include review, analyze, plan and execute purchasing requirements and requisitions, optimize material inventory, hold supplier accountable with OTC, communicate delivery dates to operations, identify new suppliers, order sample material, coordinate new product qualification with plant quality team, and support other supply chain functions while working closely with Operations.

• Primary responsibility is to efficiently drive all purchasing functions to include forecasting and planning, place and expedite orders in ERP/MRP system; perform purchase order entry; resolve purchase order problems and conduct follow-up activities as necessary to finalize purchase order transactions.
• Contribute to the enhancement of purchasing methods and procedures.
• Communicate/coordinate shortages that could cause delays with customer service, manufacturing team, production schedulers, logistics and other key personnel.?
• Manage suppliers to reduce costs, improve quality, control inventories, and ensure timely flow of material.?
• Monitor and report key performance metrics, including purchase price variance, inventories, shortages, vendor OTC, and supplier performance.?
• Oversee and manage receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
• Oversee and manage the organization of materials throughout the organization.
• Manage the transportation of raw materials between warehouse and operations.
• Manage and oversee the execution of physical inventory and cycle counting.
• Assist in training and development of team members and evaluate and coach their performance.
• Maintain a high accurate percentage of warehouse inventory accuracy.
• Maintain documentation and keep accurate records of warehouse activities.
• Optimize inventory management to drive continuous production while no disruption.
• Maintains regular contact with suppliers on matters of quality, product requirements, delivery schedules, price, and develops supplier report goals.
• Work with Plant Quality Team to ensure suppliers adhere to quality spec required.
• Provide forecasts to suppliers to ensure efficient procurement.
• Develop strategic plans for key material categories.
• Work with Sourcing, Product Planning and Operations Teams to find outsource solutions for difficult products.
• Support cost improvement initiatives and work with sourcing, operations, quality and finance.
• Develop partnerships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and improved results.
• Champion innovation and continuous improvement within the Supply Chain function.
• Collaborate closely with various departments to ensure seamless coordination.
• Evaluate and track vendor performance, driving quality and timeliness.
• Make recommendations to optimize procurement policies and procedures.?
• Report price changes and impact on the business costs.
