Job summary

Woodcraft Rangers in Riverside, CA is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, warehousing, and distribution for Inland Empire programs. You will supervise the Supply Chain Associates and ensure equipment arrives on time, within budget, and audit-ready across all IE sites.

The role requires travel across Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties, lifting up to 35 lbs, and a valid Class C license. You will build vendor relationships, manage monthly purchases, and report on inventory

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365.
• Proficiency in asset management platforms and e-commerce/Financial systems such as Sage; troubleshooting skills are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Supply Chain Associate team to maintain on-time, on-budget operations.
• Manage procurement, vendor relationships, and spend for IE programs and sites.
• Oversee warehousing, inventory, receiving, storage, and distribution across IE sites.
• Coordinate transportation for equipment and events, including setup/breakdown.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and accurate reporting; maintain asset records and audits.

Reports To: Director of Supply Chain Operations

Status: Full-time; Exempt

Location: Riverside, CA (Primary)

Hours of Operation: 40 hours/week, Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM. May need to be available on weekends

Salary Range: $72,000 – $77,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Operations, the Supply Chain Manager leads the Supply Chain Associate team and ownsand managesthe procurement, storage,and distribution of equipment and materials for Woodcraft Rangers’ Inland Empire (IE) locations and regionalsites. This role keeps every program sitesuppliedand event-ready – on time, on budget, and audit-ready.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership

• Build a positive team culture that supports accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee Supply Chain Associates,monitoringwork and ensuring safe protocols are followed.

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Process approved spending plans andpurchaseapproved materials for all WR IEprograms and locations.
• Establish andmaintainvendor relationships to negotiate pricing and resolve issues.
• Conduct thorough inspections of supplies and coordinate resolutions with vendors.
• Manage and reconcile monthly credit card purchases.

Warehouse & Inventory Operations

• Oversee warehouselogistics(including procurement), receiving, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment across all WR IE sites.
• Maintain clean, organized, and functionalwarehouseand storage areas.
• Review warehouse procedures and continually evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
• Maintainaccuraterecords of equipment/assets in internal inventorysystemand reportable district systems.
• Lead routine equipment audits at all WR IE locations.
• Lead quarterly inventory counts as required by internal and external sources.

Transportation & Events

• Drive regularly to transport equipment and supplies for all WR IE program locations, including setup and breakdowns for events.
• Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of Woodcraft Rangers vehicles and equipment, including gas, repairs, and maintenance for all WR-related usage.
• Safelyoperateequipment and tools to transport inventory.
• Assistwithspecial events, including delivery of equipment, set-up/breakdown, etc.

Compliance, Safety & Reporting

• Perform duties according to Woodcraft Rangers protocols and established safety procedures.
• In collaboration with other departments, ensureSupply Chainprotocols for loss prevention are followed at IE Office and field locations.
• Prepare and present reports and/or findings on a regular basis (e.g., asset reports, quarterly inventory reports).
• Document support requests and resolutions via ticketing system.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Ability to travel to various regions with Woodcraft Rangers programs to support or deliver equipment, across Los Angeles County and San Bernardino County.
• Must be able tolift upto 35 lbs.
• Must have a Class C driver’s license.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience inSupply ChainOperations.
• Experience in ERP Software.
• Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365 Platform.
• Proficiencyin Asset Management platforms, e-commerce platforms (Shopify), and/or Financial Systems such as Sage.
