Job summary

Flowserve Corporation is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead the site-level supply chain and drive operational excellence in procurement and logistics. You will oversee a team of procurement specialists, coordinate with sourcing, and ensure P2P processes align with site goals and compliance requirements.

The role requires 4+ years in supply chain, strong leadership, ERP expertise (SAP/Oracle/Avante), and the ability to influence across all levels.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in supply chain.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle and/or Avante.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the supply chain function at the site level.
  • Ensure sourcing and procurement activities meet daily site operations, balancing Quality, Delivery & Cost.
  • Keep the site ERP up to date with item, supplier master data and Purchase Orders.
  • Develop inputs for the AOP and STRAP focusing on spend and savings.
  • Identify opportunities to increase spend under contract and rationalize the supply base with Sourcing teams.
  • Identify supply/supplier risks and elevate through proper process.
  • Support supplier negotiations for warranty and liquidated damages.
  • Ensure compliance of supply chain activities with external regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate Flowserve Management System for the role and team.
  • Operate in compliance with Flowserve policies and procedures.

Job description

The Supply Chain Manager is accountable for all supply chain activities as it pertains to their respective site; primarily in the form of operational execution in support of site revenue and customer delivery. The overall focus of the role is to ensure that purchase demand for both Direct & Indirect scopes of supply is executed effectively per the requirements of the site. The role will have direct responsibility for a team of Procurement Specialists to transact Procure-to-Pay activities for the named site and shall leverage other functions such as Sourcing to ensure all deliverables are met on time, to the right quality and to competitive market level pricing

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the supply chain function at a site level with focus on supporting site operations.
  • Ensure that all the sourcing and procurement activities in support of the daily site operations are fulfilled on time and delivery the correct balance of Quality, Delivery & Cost as determined by the sites goals.
  • Ensure that the site ERP is up to date with all relevant supply chain data and parameters; including item master data, supplier master data and Purchase Order documents.
  • Develop and deliver the inputs required for the AOP and STRAP; with focus around spend and savings.
  • Identification of opportunities to increase spend under contract and rationalize the supply base and then collaborate with the appropriate Sourcing/Category teams to deliver the benefit.
  • Identify any specific supply/supplier risks as it pertains to the managed scope and elevate them through the appropriate process/hierarchy.
  • Support the communication and negotiation with suppliers for any claims associated to warranty, liquidated damages etc.
  • Ensure full compliance of the supply chain activities in alignment with external regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitation of the Flowserve Management System as it pertains to the role and managed teams.
  • Operate in full compliance to all Flowserve Policies & Procedures as applicable to the role.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain
  • Knowledge of ERP Systems such as SAP, Oracle and/or Avante
  • Understanding of market dynamics
  • Strong analytical skills which involves collecting, analyzing and interpreting data
  • Ability to influence, communicate, and collaborate at all organizational levels
  • Strong leadership, collaboration and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal relationship management
  • This position requires access to onsite locations managing government information, which contains Not Releasable to Foreign Nationals (NOFORN) data. Therefore, to meet NOFORN requirements, you will have to provide proof of US Citizenship and attest that you do not have dual citizenship.
Preferred
  • Experience in root cause analysis, A3, 5-why or other structured problem solving.
  • Evidenced understanding of both commercial and technical areas of supply chain
  • Very strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of supply base within the BU area of operation (products/markets etc)
  • Proficiency in Project Management
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional
  • Geographically mobile for development opportunities
  • Sound understanding on the sourcing needs of the regional / global sites

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment.

The pay range for this role is $120,000 - $140,000 annually.
