Job summary

Foxconn Assembly, LLC is seeking a senior supply chain leader to manage day-to-day SCM activities and drive site-level strategic planning in a high-tech environment.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, MRP/ERP expertise, and experience with vendor-managed inventory and global logistics. Mandarin/Chinese is preferred, with responsibility across a $1B spend and multiple global interfaces.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of SCM experience managing $1B spend.
• 5 years of logistics management experience required.
• 10 years in electronics/high-tech industry preferred.
• APICS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day SCM activities and lead site-level SCM planning.
• Lead site SCM goals to meet company and customer expectations.
• Develop strategic planning including risk mitigation and inventory minimization.
• Support schedule flexibility to minimize inventory exposure and maintain cost targets.
• Lead SCM performance reviews with ETA accuracy, PO past-due tracking, expediting, and E&O updates.
• Escalate material issues as needed.
• Support global logistics initiatives including importing compliance and duty/tax payments.
• Provide direction and career development to SCM staff.
• Understand SAP MM modules for MRP, ROP, item master, and purchasing data.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Mandarin/Chinese is preferable.

Job description

This position is responsible for managing day to day SCM activities as well as leading the site’s strategic SCM planning.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead site level supply chain goals and objectives to meet company and customer expectations.
• Manage day to day supply chain management (SCM) activities.
• Develop and manage strategic planning such as risk mitigation, inventory minimization, etc…
• Support schedule flexibility to minimize inventory exposure and maintain performance to cost targets.
• Lead and monitor SCM weekly, monthly, and quarterly activities, including ETA accuracy, PO (purchase order) past due tracking, material expedites, and E&O (excess and obsolete) updates.
• Escalate material issues as needed.
• Support customers in the global logistics initiatives, including importing compliance and duty tax payment processes.
• Manage performance and provide work direction and career development to supply chain staff.
• Fully understand SAP MM modules per MRP, ROP, item master, and purchasing data
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Preferable for Mandarin/Chinese
