Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to act as the single-point leader for external manufacturing relationships in a hybrid Bridgewater, NJ role. You will ensure product supply aligns with demand, schedules, and priorities while driving governance and issue resolution with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in supply chain management, ERP and S&OP knowledge, and experience managing external manufacturers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 6+ years supply chain management experience; ERP and S&OP understanding; experience managing external manufacturers (preferred).

Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the single-point operational owner for assigned external manufacturing relationships.
  • Accountable for delivery of product supply against agreed demand, schedules, and business priorities.
  • Lead routine governance (performance monitoring, issue escalation, resolution).
  • Identify and resolve manufacturing issues via cross-functional collaboration with Technical Operations, Quality, and Procurement.
  • Support launch readiness and lifecycle management initiatives at external sites.
  • Proactively assess and mitigate risks related to supply disruptions (external partners, logistics delays, market condition changes).
  • Partner with Procurement on contract negotiation, cost management, and budgeting for external manufacturing services.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and enhance service performance.
  • Lead/support capacity planning, risk mitigation, and business continuity planning for external manufacturing partners.
  • Recommend strategic actions (capacity changes, remediation plans, site transfers) and escalated critical compliance/supply/financial risks with analysis.
  • Provide matrix leadership; no direct people management required.
Other Responsibilities
  • Maintain relationships with supply chain counterparts at CMOs and internal teams (Supply Chain Planning, External Manufacturing QA).
  • Backup other SCMs for their CMOs during absences.
  • Prepare and represent Supply Chain topics at CMO Business Review Meetings; generate CMO action items and track CMO supply chain metrics.
  • Review major supply forecast changes and summarize impacts for CMO partners.
  • Submit rolling forecasts and monthly Purchase Orders to CMOs.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 6+ years supply chain management experience; ERP and S&OP understanding; experience managing external manufacturers (preferred).
Preferred Skills/Assets
  • APICS/ISM or similar certification (plus).
  • SAP (preferred) and Power BI; strong MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
Additional Requirement

Hybrid role in Bridgewater, NJ; onsite Tue/Wed/Thu.

Compensation/Benefits
  • Base pay range: $110K–$150K; eligible for annual bonus or sales incentive plan.
