Job summary

Haigh-Farr is a premier antenna design, manufacturing and test house serving aerospace, Mars missions, ISS projects and U.S. Military programs.

We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to coordinate movement of goods, manage inventory, optimize logistics and align with suppliers to meet demand and quality standards. The role requires coordinating production schedules, collaborating with Production, Planning and Quality teams, and driving continuous improvement across supply chain functions at a

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or logistics.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
  • U.S. Citizen, with ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, in particular SAP.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced regulated environment.
  • Managerial experience with staff oversight.
  • Experience in a DoD contracting environment a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate production schedules, inventory levels, and product demand.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Collaborate with Production and Planning teams to align supply chain activities with manufacturing schedules and customer demand.
  • Close collaboration with Quality Department to align with approved vendors and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Analyze trends and data to forecast future needs and streamline operations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical guidelines and standards.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and develop contingency plans for potential disruptions.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to materials planning and purchasing staff including training and mentoring.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate contracts with suppliers and common carriers.
  • Monitor transportation and logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to coordinate efforts and maximize performance.

Summary:

Haigh-Farr is a premier antenna design, manufacturing and test house developing products used across all platforms in the aerospace industry including missions to Mars, the International Space Station and products fielded to the U.S. Military supporting the warfighter. Haigh-Farr is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will coordinate the movement of goods from the Company to our customers, ensuring that everything runs efficiently and that product meets customers’ expectations. You will be responsible for managing inventory, optimizing logistics and coordinating with suppliers to meet demand. You will also analyze data to forecast supply needs and ensure maximum efficiency.This person will manage and support both Purchasing Team as well as Materials Team.
