Job summary

Bayer AG is seeking a Supply Chain Management Intern in Whippany, NJ to support data-driven optimization across the end-to-end supply chain.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing data inputs, and supporting forecasting and deployment of digital tools such as RPA to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in SCM, data science, or a related technical field.
• At least 1 year completed in degree program.
• Experience with data analysis using Power BI, Tableau, AWS, Snowflake, or ODBC.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines.
• Interest in SCM processes such as inventory management and change management.
• Strong cross-functional communication with customers, project teams and Bayer organizations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a contributor to cross-functional teams for supply chain problem solving.
• Review data inputs and identify levers to improve processes.
• Support forecasting and SKU-level inventory understanding.
• Assist in resolving issues during development to meet customer needs.
• Support deployment of digital tools (e.g., RPA) to digitize supply chain operations.
• Extract and analyze key datasets for end-to-end supply chain optimization.
• Partner with internal and external customers to deliver project objectives.

Supply Chain Management Intern

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Servesasacontributortocross - functionalteams forproblemsolvingissueswithinthe supplychainoperations;
• Reviews multiple data inputs and understands clear levers to pull to improve processes;
• Supports the development of a deeper understanding behind the complexity of supply chain processes such as forecasting for item specific SKUs;
• Facilitate the resolution of problems during the development process to meet customers' needs;
• Supports deployment of digital tools in order to digitize supply chain operations such as Robotic Process Automation;
• Effectively extracts and analyzes key data sets in order to extract insight for end-to-end supply chain optimization;
• Partners with internal and external customers to efficiently deliver against project objectives .

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following :

Required Qualifications:

• Currently eitherpursuing aBachelors orMasters degree inSupply ChainManagement, Data Scienceorother technical discipline;
• Must have completed at least 1 year of a Bachelors degree program;
• Experience with data analysis utilizing tools including PowerBI , Tableau , AWSSnowflake/ODBC;
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently on mult i ple projects under tight timelines;
• Interest in SCM processes such as inventory management change management, display/special-pack operations, Inventory management, and change management;
• Good communication skills due to the cross-functional collaboration required with customers including project teams as well as initiatives involving Bayer Healthcare US and Bayer Healthcare global organizations .

Preferred Qualifications :

• 2years ofdatabase related coursework, e . g . ,working knowledge ofpivot tables, macrosorexperience in programming languages;
• Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) .

Bayer offers a wide variety of competitive compensation and benefits programs.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately between $22 .75 to $47.75 . Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
