Job summary

Bayer’s Supply Chain Management Intern role in Whippany, NJ provides hands-on experience across cross-functional teams, data analysis tools, and real-world process-improvement projects within the Consumer Health division.

You will support forecasting, inventory and change management, and help deploy digital tools like RPA, gaining exposure to end-to-end supply chain operations while collaborating with Bayer Healthcare US and global teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in SCM, Data Science or related technical discipline.
• At least 1 year of a Bachelor's degree completed.
• Experience with data analysis using PowerBI, Tableau, AWS Snowflake/ODBC.
• Ability to work on multiple projects under tight timelines.
• Interest in SCM processes such as inventory management and change management.
• Strong computer skills - Microsoft Excel and Office.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to cross-functional teams to solve supply chain issues.
• Review data inputs and identify levers to improve processes.
• Support forecasting for item-specific SKUs and SCM processes.
• Assist deployment of digital tools, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
• Extract and analyze data for end-to-end supply chain insights.

Supply Chain Management Intern

Responsibilities

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role are to:

• Serves as a contributor to cross - functional teams for problem solving issues within the supply chain operations;
• Reviews multiple data inputs and understands clear levers to pull to improve processes;
• Supports the development of a deeper understanding behind the complexity of supply chain processes such as forecasting for item specific SKUs;
• Facilitate the resolution of problems during the development process to meet customers' needs;
• Supports deployment of digital tools in order to digitize supply chain operations such as Robotic Process Automation;
• Effectively extracts and analyzes key data sets in order to extract insight for end-to-end supply chain optimization;
• Partners with internal and external customers to efficiently deliver against project objectives .

Who You Are

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following :

Required Qualifications

• Currently either pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Science or other technical discipline;
• Must have completed at least 1 year of a Bachelors degree program;
• Experience with data analysis utilizing tools including PowerBI , Tableau , AWS Snowflake/ODBC;
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently on mult i ple projects under tight timelines;
• Interest in SCM processes such as inventory management change management, display/special-pack operations, Inventory management, and change management;
• Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office/ Excel Pivot Tables;
• Good communication skills due to the cross-functional collaboration required with customers including project teams as well as initiatives involving Bayer Healthcare US and Bayer Healthcare global organizations .

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of database related coursework, e . g . , working knowledge of pivot tables, macros or experience in programming languages;
• Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) .

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately between $22 .75 to $47.75 . Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc ..
