Job summary

Kaizen Technologies is seeking a Senior Consultant for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management on a contract, onsite from Day 1 in Durham, NC. You will lead ERP lifecycle activities from planning through go-live, advising clients and delivering design, configuration, testing, and training.

The role requires deep SCM knowledge, 5 years D365 experience, strong communication, and ability to translate business needs into functional specs. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes and principles
• Experience configuring Dynamics 365 SCM modules (PI, Procurement, Production, Sales/Inventory, Warehouse, Transportation)
• 5+ years of Dynamics D365 experience preferred
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications
• Experience with data mapping and integration concepts
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM/Finance/Operations certifications preferred

Job Title: D365 SCM Consultant (Supply Chain Management Consultant)

Duration: Contract (Day 1 Onsite)

Job Summary

Looking for a Senior Consultant - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management. This experienced consulting position will cover all phases of an ERP solution life cycle from initial planning and design through implementation and user adoption. Responsibilities of this position include the following:

• Design and configure Dynamics 365 Supply Chain modules, including Product Information Management, Procurement, Production, Sales and Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, and Transportation Management
• Conduct client workshops to define business requirements required for them to successfully implement the ERP solution. Capture these requirements in Business Scenario Documents/ Functional Requirements Documents / User Stories per the requirements of the project.
• Writing design documents for any customizations and reports for D365. Ensure the design documents capture boundary conditions and include comprehensive test scenarios.
• Review design documents, data mapping and integration mapping written by other team members.
• Configure D365 for Order Management, Item Management, Inventory, Master Planning, Warehousing, Procurement, Vendor Management, Vendor Portal and Manufacturing.
• Provide guidance and support to clients during the implementation process, including training and troubleshooting.
• Develop functional specifications and design documents for customizations and integrations.
• Collaborate with technical consultants to ensure functional requirements are translated into technical designs
• Provide support to clients during testing and go-live phases.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry developments and product updates related to Dynamics 365 Supply Chain

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• Strong understanding of Supply Chain Management processes and principles
• Strong knowledge of Supply Chain (Manufacturing, Warehousing, Planning), Finance
• 5 years of experience in Dynamics D365 is desired
• Excellent client-facing capabilities to perform the following job duties
• Ability to conduct business process analysis and translate requirements into functional specifications.
• Experience in configuring Dynamics 365 Supply Chain modules, including Product Information Management, Procurement, Production, Sales and Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, and Transportation Management
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Knowledge of Power Platform, Power BI, and related Microsoft technologies.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications in Supply Chain Management, Finance, and Operations, or related areas are preferred.
