Job summary

SPOC Automation in Trussville, AL is seeking an Entry level Logistics / Warehouse Associate to support inventory, receiving, and shipping operations at our corporate office.

You will perform cycle counts, process shipments, operate forklifts, and help maintain a safe, organized workspace while following established procedures. This role offers a stable, entry-level path within a growing logistics team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year or more of experience in a logistics, warehousing, or supply chain role.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Report discrepancies and coordinate with the inventory control team to resolve issues.
• Process incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and ensure proper documentation.
• Prepare and process outgoing shipments, ensuring they meet quality and delivery standards.
• Operate and maintain equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Transport materials to and from various locations within the facility.
• Accurately pick items from inventory according to work orders, ensuring that the correct items and quantities are selected.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all logistics activities.
• Inspect products for damage or defects during receiving and shipping processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics processes.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Participate in safety training and contribute to a culture of safety in the workplace.
