Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a Supply Chain Logistics Specialist (Level 2 or 3) to manage receipt, storage, and movement of materials at the Promontory, UT facility. The role supports packaging, audits, and delivery accuracy within our logistics network.

The candidate should have a degree with 2+ years of related experience or a master’s with fewer years, plus Excel/PowerPoint and SAP experience. Ability to obtain a US government clearance is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in supply chain, project mgmt, manufacturing, logistics, or business mgmt; OR Master’s with 0+ years.
Level 3 requires 5+ years in supply chain or 3+ years with Master’s.
4 years of relatable business experience in lieu of degree accepted.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
Ability to obtain/maintain US government security clearance.

Responsibilities

Receive, deliver, and inspect incoming material and warehousing of program material.
Provide packaging engineering support and quotes.
Maintain material records and support production/engineering.
Ensure accuracy of delivery information and inventories.
Coordinate material transport within Northrop Grumman network.

Northrop Grumman Space Sector is currently seeking a Supply Chain Logistics Specialist - Level 2 or Level 3 to work onsite at our facility located in Promontory, UT.

Responsibilities To Include, But Not Limited To The Following

Responsible for the receipt, delivery and inspection of incoming material, central stores/warehousing of program and/or company-acquired material and packaging and shipping services.
Provides packaging engineering support, special container design, packaging estimates and format quotes.
Ensures the retention of material and supplies for future use and in support of production and/or engineering.
Responsible for the accountability and accuracy of physical records.
Provides transportation of material and correspondence within the local Northrop Grumman business environment and primary or subsidiary contract partners.
Maintains functional records in support of internal and external audits to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
Manages, develops or carries out delivery in accordance with all established business policies, procedures and public law.
Ensures accuracy of delivery information.
Ensures: finished goods inventories, non-proprietary government property inventory, transportation, import/export requirements, and customer returns in conjunction with business area personnel.
Understand and comply with all material requirements and specs; including but not limited to frozen, or otherwise temperature controlled and hazmat substances.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

The position can be filled with either a level 2 or level 3.

Basic Qualifications

Level 2: Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of experience in supply chain management, project management, manufacturing, operations, logistics, procurement, or business management OR a Master’s Degree with 0 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, manufacturing, operations, or business management
Level 3: Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, project management, manufacturing, operations, logistics, procurement, or business management OR a Master’s Degree with 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, project management, manufacturing, operations, or business management
In lieu of a degree, an additional 4 years of relatable business experience
Proficient with Microsoft Suite with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with SAP and/or similar ERP systems
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in data analytics
Ability to exercise excellent judgment and decision-making skills based on a clear understanding and application of government regulations to international trade activity
Current/Active US Government security clearance
