ProMed is seeking a Supply Chain Lead to ensure timely availability of materials, components, and supplies across client programs. You will own supplier qualification, negotiate terms, and manage inventory while maintaining cGMP compliance.

The role emphasizes cross-functional coordination with QA, Regulatory, and Process Development to implement new materials, transfer technology, and optimize procurement processes. A Bachelor's degree and 4+ years in supply chain are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or materials management.
• Experience with supplier sourcing, qualification, and negotiation.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and inventory management practices.
• Working knowledge of cGMP material control requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and qualify raw material, component, and packaging suppliers meeting cGMP quality, capacity, and lead-time requirements.
• Lead supplier selection activities, including RFQs, technical assessments, and site quality audits with QA.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and supply agreements to secure favorable terms while maintaining supply continuity.
• Maintain an approved supplier list and support ongoing supplier performance monitoring and requalification.
• Develop dual-sourcing and risk mitigation strategies for critical or single-source materials.
• Lead the implementation of new materials into ERP, specs, and QA systems.
• Coordinate with Quality, Regulatory, and Process Development to ensure new materials are specified, tested, and released.
• Support technology transfer activities by identifying materials for new client programs.
• Manage material change controls to minimize disruptions to production.
• Maintain accurate material master data, specifications, and BOM records.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, and Planning to align material availability with production schedules.
• Communicate supply risks proactively to internal stakeholders and client teams.
• Support client discussions related to material sourcing, lead times, and risk.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement and inventory processes.
