Job summary

Textron Aviation internship in Supply Chain focuses on inventory and procurement practices, driving automation and efficiency in daily processes to support Direct, Indirect, and Aftermarket. You’ll work on production and supplier interfaces and collaborate cross‑functionally to bring Textron Aviation products to market.

Summer internship is 40 hours per week for 10 weeks, late May to early August, onsite unless approved otherwise. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Action oriented and seizes opportunities.
• Effectively utilizes time and organizes priorities well.
• SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with material planning requirements, issuing purchase orders for materials and components, expediting orders as needed, and verifying delivery dates.
• New process implementation and process improvement, involving developing procedures, completing problem analysis, etc.
• Manage inventory and reorder point of materials based on manufacturing schedules.
• Prepare reports and communications as requested.
• Perform system data analysis, maintenance, and clean‑up.
