Job summary

Textron’s Kautex division is offering an internship in Supply Chain in San Antonio, TX. You will perform material tasks, help develop material systems, and liaise with suppliers and internal customers to support quality improvements.

The role targets students pursuing degrees in materials, supply chain, or industrial engineering with an interest in automotive applications. AI readiness and curiosity are valued as part of daily tooling and policy alignment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing University Degree in materials, supply chain, or industrial engineering.
• Preference for candidates with knowledge in materials science.
• Knowledge of material functions.
• Automotive related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of Material duties associated with assigned tasks within Materials department.
• Support the creation of material systems and procedures.
• Apply Kautex policies and procedures to supplier base.
• Develop and maintain an open liaison relationship with suppliers and internal customers.
• Support the continuous quality improvement process by continually evaluating material processes for potential incremental enhancements.
• Capture Lessons Learned for future processes.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned (e.g. maintaining open issues, lessons learned, and after-action review data)
