Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Logistics Trainee/Apprentice for a one-year fixed-term role at our Site Supply Chain. The position requires 30+ hours per week and offers exposure to order processing, warehousing, and transportation activities.

You will assist in data analysis, documentation management, and improvement projects, while developing administrative and logistics skills in a global automotive supplier environment.

Qualifications

• Senior status or recent college graduate with a BA/BS in Supply Chain or Logistics.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Manager in day to day operations of all logistic activities including order processing, material handling, warehousing and transportation
• Be involved in data analysis, documentation management and improvement projects within the department
• Provide administrative support for various logistic processes such as order processing, inventory control and material handling
• Analyze data related to shipments, deliveries and transportation costs to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Assist in maintaining records and documents related to logistics activities
• Support special projects and initiatives within the logistics department
• Participate in meetings and discussions with team members to stay updated on current issues and future plans
