The Lubrizol Corporation invites aspiring supply chain professionals to join as a Supply Chain Intern. You will develop analytical reports, support scheduling and inventory tasks, and partner across Finance, Trade Compliance, and IS to drive value.

During summer, onsite in Northeast Ohio or Deer Park, TX with a hybrid option during the academic year, you will gain hands-on experience with continuous improvement initiatives and risk management in a global context.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program with graduation dates after Aug 2027 (summer) or May 2028 (full-year).
• Majors considered: Supply Chain, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Economics, Logistics.
• GPA 3.0+ prioritized.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and imperfect data.

Responsabilités

• Develop and interpret analytical reports using SAP, Excel, and data visualization tools.
• Improve operational excellence by tracking key processes and metrics.
• Run analyses to ensure compliance with key policies and procedures.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Trade Compliance, IS) on projects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (freight, packaging, e-commerce).
• Support supply chain risk management and a Business Continuity Playbook.
• Monitor material movements, review lot sizes, safety stocks, and lead times.
• Assist with production scheduling by identifying cycle variances and capacity factors.
• Collaborate with strategic planners to build trajectory and asset plans.

• Full-year internship opportunity: full time (40 hours/week) May 2027-May 2028 onsite during the summer in Northeast Ohio or Deer Park, TX with part-time (12-20 hours per week) hybrid work available during the academic year for students attending universities within commuting distance of NEO or Deer Park, TX sites
• Summer-only internship opportunity: full time (40 hours/week) May 2027-August 2027 onsite during the summer in Northeast Ohio or Deer Park, TX available for students not attending universities within commuting distance of Northeast Ohio or Deer Park, TX sites

How You’ll Make An Impact

As a Supply Chain Intern, you will have the opportunity to develop and interpret analytical reports, improve operational excellence through tracking and reporting key processes, complete audits to ensure compliance, partner on cross-functional projects, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, lead risk management and inventory management projects, support production scheduling, and collaborate on trajectory and asset plans.

• Develop and interpret analytical reports using SAP, Excel, and other data visualization tools
• Improve Operational Excellence by tracking and reporting key processes and metrics to management
• Run analyses to gauge internal compliance with key policies and procedures
• Partner with global colleagues to complete cross-functional (Finance, Trade Compliance, IS) projects and support standardization initiatives
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects involving freight optimization, packaging & labeling, e-commerce operations, and more
• Assist with Supply Chain risk management and the development of a Business Continuity Playbook (BCP) to minimize disruption and maximize resilience
• Support inventory management projects by monitoring material movements, reviewing lot sizes & safety stocks, and maintaining lead times
• Support production scheduling by identifying cycle variances and short-term capacity factors
• Collaborate with strategic planners to build trajectory and asset plans for each business unit

Required Qualifications That Enables Your Success

• Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program from an accredited college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2027 for summer-only students and May 2028 for full-year students
• The following majors will be considered: Supply Chain, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Economics, Logistics, and other similar degrees
• Students with a GPA at or above 3.0 will be given priority consideration
• Ability to integrate business acumen with technical skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Must be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and imperfect data
