Job summary

Marathon Petroleum seeks motivated interns for Commercial Sourcing Advisor, Supply Chain Associate, or Business Analyst roles in Findlay, Ohio. You will gain exposure to procurement, contracts, supplier diversity, and data analytics while supporting cross-functional teams.

Positions are full-time, on-location with opportunities to learn MPC policies, category management, and supply chain systems, including collaboration with finance, AP, IT, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Strong academic performance
• Authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without visa sponsorship now or in the future
• Full-time, 40 hours per week, on-location
• Concurrent enrollment in a degree-seeking program during internship
• Military experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Learn MPC procurement, contracts and materials management policies and procedures
• Understand MPC's category management, contract management and supplier diversity processes
• Assist in purchasing indirect goods and services
• Engage in cross-functional category management activities
• Assist in inventory control, transportation and logistics projects
