Job summary

Textron is offering a 10-week Fulfillment Intern position in Graniteville, SC, designed to give hands-on experience in material planning and production scheduling within a global manufacturing environment.

You will support purchasing, inventory control, data analysis, and process improvements while learning from experienced professionals. This internship includes mentorship, formal training, and real project work, with a prepaid stipend and opportunities for future full-time consideration.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective time management and prioritization abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist with material planning and issue purchase orders, expediting as needed.
• Develop and implement new processes; analyze problems and document procedures.
• Manage inventory and reorder points based on schedules.
• Prepare reports and communications as requested.
• Perform system data analysis, maintenance, and cleanup.
• Stage orders, create stockroom pick lists, and schedule materials.
• Use capacity and lead time data to ensure schedule compliance.
• Analyze material demand and shortages and assess impact on schedules.
• Assist supervisors with disposition of rejected material and bottleneck analysis.
• Maintain data records and establish production schedules for the area.
