Job summary

The BD Supply Chain Development Program Internship offers a 10-12 week assignment within NASC, located at our Northern New Jersey site in Franklin Lakes. Interns rotate through Demand Planning, Order Management, Transportation, Distribution Operations and Inventory Optimization to build a solid foundation in supply chain.

You'll work with senior leaders to drive improvements, learn analytics, and gain visibility through dashboards, preparing for a career in global medtech with BD.

Qualifications

• Undergrad pursuing BS in Supply Chain, Logistics or Operations Management.
• Proficiency in Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
• General knowledge of supply chain theory.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.

Responsibilities

• Work with Integrated Supply Chain leaders to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Assist in development and implementation of projects; provide performance visibility to leadership.
• Collect, validate, and analyze supply chain data; prepare scorecards and reports.
• Analyze performance trends and identify corrective actions and improvement opportunities.
• Present findings to leadership and gain alignment on actions.
• Engage in special project work as assigned.
