Job summary

WEC Energy Group's subsidiary WEC Business Services LLC in Milwaukee is seeking a Summer 2027 Supply Chain Intern. This internship is full-time for the summer with potential for part-time during the academic year, offering an hourly rate of $21.30 and paid holidays.

A hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site) is available, with time spent in the Milwaukee office. The Procurement/Supply Chain Intern will assist with the delivery of materials and services within the Procurement Department, gaining

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, HSED, or GED.
• Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance or closely related degree with a graduation date after June 2027.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Procurement areas working with the current processes to ensure high service levels to internal customers.
• Manage and execute projects assigned by the Procurement managers or directors, which support process improvement or business enhancements for WEC Energy Group.
• Work on both personal computer and Procurement applications (e.g. SAP, Taulia, AdobeSign, Woods Makenzie, etc.). Heavy use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word).
• Assist on miscellaneous special projects.
• Assisting the Business Performance team in data management, procurement support, and accounts payable support.
• Assisting buyers in creation and management of Purchase Orders and Contracts.
• Assisting buyers in request for quote, proposal, and information process
• Assisting the Business Performance team in request for quote, proposal, and information process, as needed
