Job summary

Macy’s is seeking a Supply Chain Internship in China Grove, NC. The intern will gain exposure to Macy’s end-to-end supply chain network, supporting the Process Engineering team with data analysis and process improvements across e-commerce distribution centers.

During the 8‑week program, you’ll rotate through function areas, work with engineers and operations staff, and contribute ideas that impact the business while engaging with senior leaders and participating in professional development

Responsibilities

• Engage in professional development through hands-on learning, structured workshops, and collaborative projects.
• Foster relationships with fellow interns, business leaders, and team members.
• Rotate through each function of a supply chain facility, working side by side with colleagues.
• Utilize analytic tools, metrics, and KPIs to complete an internship project and support recommendations for business improvement.
• Acquire experience with best-in-class technology, including order management, transportation management, and warehouse management systems.
• Identify opportunities for functional improvement with fellow interns.
• Demonstrate strong program management to oversee project lifecycles.
• Meet deadlines, both independently and in a team.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships with colleagues, customers, and communities.
