KENT WORLDWIDE is seeking a Supply Chain Intern in Muscatine, IA to gain hands-on experience across core supply chain activities and projects that support real business needs.

You will learn from experienced professionals, work on planning, data analysis, and process improvements, and build skills that set you apart after graduation. This internship is designed for students pursuing a degree in supply chain management or related fields.

Qualifications

• Working toward a degree in Supply Chain Management, related Business or Engineering Degree
• Data-driven approach to problem solving
• Word, Excel and Access skills
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
• Strong analytical skills
• Must be able to analyze data and draw conclusions for follow-up reporting

Responsibilities

• Support projects that strengthen supply and demand planning processes, including KPIs, procedures, and work instructions.
• Create and update AX system work instructions, assist with training efforts, and help improve the flow of materials and information across the supply chain.
• Partner with the Supply Chain team to maintain planning applications through data validation, system updates, report generation, and business analysis.
• Analyze ERP data, including materials, inventory, forecasts, work orders, and production information, to develop reports and recommendations that enhance supply chain performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing waste, increasing efficiency, and optimizing planning and material utilization processes.
• Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities, including data gathering, demand analysis, fulfillment measurement, and cross-functional integration efforts.
• Gain exposure to key areas of the KENT supply chain by supporting projects related to procurement, transportation, contract administration, ERP systems, and inventory management.
• Demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety by following, communicating, and supporting safety policies and practices across all work environments.
