Job summary

Yusen Logistics (Americas) Inc. is seeking a Logistics Intern to support transportation operations for Supply Chain Solutions customers. The role is hybrid onsite in Jacksonville, FL, with up to 30 hours per week and flexible scheduling.

You will track shipments, manage delays, review invoicing data, and run system reports in Excel while gaining knowledge of carrier landscapes across US/CA/MX and participating in Kaizen projects.

Qualifications

• Active degree-seeking student in a related field with 12–24 months to graduation.
• Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and strong communication.
• Willingness to learn transportation and logistics concepts.

Responsibilities

• Track shipments via phone, email, and websites to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
• Proactively manage delays and exceptions and elevate as needed.
• Review loads for invoicing accuracy and complete loads promptly.
• Update orders/loads via phone, email, or online portals.
• Run system reports and work with Excel.
• Participate in Kaizen projects.
• Learn transportation planning and routing processes.
• Understand US/CA/MX carrier landscape.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Position Summary: The Logistics Intern is responsible for supporting the operational execution and management of transportation for Yusen’s Supply Chain Solutions customers . The team this role will support includes Logistics Operations, Account Management, Carrier Management, and Reporting.

The team this role will support includes Logistics Operations, Account Management, Carrier Management, and Reporting. This position will require to be hybrid onsite based out of Jacksonville, FL.ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities

• Track shipments via phone, email, websites to ensure on time pick up and delivery
• Proactively manage delays and exceptions and elevate as needed
• Timely and accurate review loads for customer invoicing requiments and complete loads
• Update customer orders/loads via phone, email or other media such as on-line portals
• Run system reports and work with excel
• Participate in Kaizen projects
• Gain knowledge of transporation planning and routing processes
• Understand the US/CA/MX carrier base landscape
• Additional duties as assigned by the management team

QualificationsEducation and Experience Active degree-seeking students who are enrolled in a relevant degree program (Transportation & Logistics, Supply Chain Management, etc.) and within 12-24 months of graduation preferred. Maximum 30 hours per week. Hours flexible.
