Job summary

Donaldson Company in Frankfort, IN is offering a Summer Supply Chain Intern position for 10–12 weeks starting summer 2027. You will join a team handling end-to-end supply chain operations including planning, procurement, scheduling, logistics and distribution at our Frankfort plant.

Qualified candidates are enrolled juniors pursuing a related bachelor’s degree, with strong Excel skills and an interest in data analysis and process improvement. On-site schedule; relocation not covered.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled junior/3rd year undergraduate pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Supply Chain, Engineering, MIS, Operations Management).
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel to perform data analysis and reporting.
• Demonstrated interest in data analysis, supply chain, or manufacturing operations through coursework or projects.
• Preferred: Experience with BI software, ERP systems, or data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Build expertise for the assigned project or process area and contribute to continuous improvement and optimization efforts.
• Collaborate with other analysts and planners to provide support on their tasks and projects where necessary.
• Participate in analyses to support S&OP decisions to ensure availability of raw material and production capacity.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related concerns.

As a **Supply Chain Intern**, you will be part of a team focused on end-to-end supply chain operations – including planning, procurement, production scheduling, logistics, and distribution. You will interact with supply chain leaders, planners, analysts, and cross-functional operations partners, gaining exposure to real-world challenges in global supply networks.
