Job summary

Motorola Solutions, based in West Los Angeles, is seeking a Supply Chain Finance Manager to bridge FP&A with Supply Chain and Engineering. The role is hybrid with at least three onsite days per week and focuses on optimizing cost efficiency and profitability for our MANET radios.

The candidate will lead costing, pricing and strategic sourcing finance, develop reporting for forecasting and budgeting, and collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years in a finance, operational finance or supply chain role.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting and manufacturing environments.
  • U.S. Person (US Citizenship or Permanent Residency) due to federal contract requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory & Working Capital management and optimization, vendor terms refinement.
  • Collaborate on BOM development and COGS detail management.
  • Analyze pricing, sourcing and tariff strategies to protect margins.
  • Interpret financial/operational data to advise vendor strategy and cost controls.
  • Enhance data systems to reduce cycle times for key metrics.
  • Design and oversee financial reporting for forecasting and budgeting.

Job Summary

Silvus seeks a Supply Chain Finance Manager who will report to the FP&A Director. The role bridges the gap between financial planning and operational execution, partnering closely with Supply Chain and Engineering teams to optimize cost efficiency and profitability for our advanced Mobile Ad‑hoc Network (MANET) radios. The position is based in West Los Angeles, CA, on a hybrid schedule with a minimum of three onsite days per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays).

Responsibilities
  • Inventory & Working Capital: Lead inventory management strategies and working capital optimization, including refining vendor terms.
  • Product Costing (BOM): Collaborate with Engineering and Supply Chain on BOM development and maintain strict oversight of COGS detail management.
  • Strategic Sourcing Finance: Analyze and determine pricing, sourcing and tariff strategies, exercising discretion to protect margins and mitigate financial risk.
  • Operational Analysis: Interpret complex financial and operational data to recommend vendor strategy, pricing and cost controls to finance leadership.
  • Process Improvement: Enhance data systems and proactive tools to reduce cycle times for key supply‑chain metrics.
  • Executive Support: Design and oversee financial reporting frameworks to guide forecasting, budgeting and strategic decision‑making.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 8+ years in a finance, operational finance or supply chain role.
  • Leadership: 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, able to transform raw data into usable formats and automate repetitive processes.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting and manufacturing environments.
  • Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to federal contract requirements.
  • Background Check: All employment contingent upon successful clearance of a background check and drug test.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience with Google Apps Script, Power Query, SQL, Python, Alteryx or related data preparation tools.
  • Experience with Oracle or similar ERP and Business Intelligence tools.
  • Experience forecasting and analyzing operational cash flows.
  • Background in manufacturing, management consulting or private equity.
  • Background in product costing, cost accounting or strong supply‑chain function.

Compensation

$135,000 – $175,000 annually (based on market data).
