Job summary

Tropicana Brands Group is seeking a highly analytical Procurement Finance Manager to serve as the key Finance partner to the Procurement organization within a fast-paced Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environment. This role will provide financial support across strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, cost management, forecasting, and productivity initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5–8+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Procurement Finance, or related role.
• CPG or consumer products experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of Procurement, Purchase Price Variance (PPV), tariffs, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Experience with raw materials, packaging, commodities, and supplier cost analysis preferred.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; ERP and BI tools experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and business partnering skills.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary Finance partner to Procurement.
• Analyze COGS drivers across materials, packaging, freight, and tariffs.
• Support supplier negotiations with financial modeling.
• Track procurement savings, cost avoidance, inflation, and productivity.
• Reconcile savings to actual and forecasted P&L impact.
• Monitor tariff exposure and mitigation opportunities.
• Input budget and forecast with commodity trends and pricing.
• Analyze PPV and other cost variances.
• Support new products, packaging changes, and value engineering.
• Develop spend, savings, inflation, PPV, and gross margin dashboards.
• Present insights to Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance leadership.

Role Overview:

Tropicana Brands Group is seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Procurement Finance Manager to serve as the key Finance partner to the Procurement organization within a fast-paced Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environment.

This role will provide financial support across strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, cost management, forecasting, and productivity initiatives. The Procurement Finance Manager will partner with Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, and FP&A to understand COGS drivers, identify risks and opportunities, and improve gross margin performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Finance partner to Procurement, providing financial guidance and decision support for sourcing and supplier decisions.


• Analyze key COGS drivers, including raw materials, ingredients, packaging, freight, commodities, tariffs, and supplier pricing.


• Support supplier negotiations, sourcing initiatives, RFPs, and contract renewals through financial modeling and analysis.


• Own the financial validation and tracking of Procurement savings, cost avoidance, inflation, and productivity initiatives.


• Reconcile Procurement savings to actual and forecasted P&L impact and identify potential savings leakage.


• Monitor and assess tariff exposure and changes, quantify the financial impact, and partner with Procurement to identify mitigation opportunities.


• Lead procurement-related inputs into the annual budget and forecast, incorporating commodity trends, supplier pricing, volume, inflation/deflation, tariffs, and sourcing changes.


• Analyze purchase price variance (PPV) and other cost variances, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities.


• Support new products, packaging changes, reformulations, and value engineering initiatives through cost and margin analysis.


• Develop reporting and dashboards for spend, savings, inflation, PPV, COGS, and gross margin.


• Present financial insights and recommendations to Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.


• 5–8+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Procurement Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Cost Accounting, or a related role.


• CPG or consumer products experience is strongly preferred.


• Strong understanding of Procurement, Purchase Price Variance (PPV), commodities, tariffs, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.


• Experience with raw materials, packaging, commodities, and supplier cost analysis preferred.


• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with ERP and business intelligence tools preferred.


• Strong analytical, communication, and business partnering skills.


• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations.
