Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Material Operations Analyst for the 1st shift in Lancaster, TX. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while analyzing data for variance and cost-saving opportunities. You will develop complex Excel models and prepare monthly management reports.

The position requires a degree in Accounting/Finance/Business and hands-on experience with databases and advanced Excel. Travel may be involved as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Statistics, or related field.
• 1 year of experience in financial analysis or planning.
• Experience with databases and writing queries (SQL or Access).
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Design, prepare and update complex spreadsheets/cost models in Excel to support resource planning, forecasting, budgeting and variance research.
• Prepare monthly reporting package, comparing actual financials vs. budgets for internal management review.
• Investigate cost variances; work with stakeholders to identify root causes and cost-saving opportunities.
• Identify, measure and track KPIs and other operational and financial metrics related to site operations.
