Job summary

SURESCAN Corp. in Owego, NY is seeking a Purchasing Expeditor to track and accelerate the flow of purchased materials to support production.

You will monitor purchase orders, communicate with suppliers, resolve delays, and coordinate with purchasing, inventory, and production teams to ensure timely deliveries and uninterrupted operations. Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or logistics.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Track open purchase orders and verify delivery commitments.
• Follow up with suppliers on late or urgent orders.
• Resolve issues related to shortages, quality, or incorrect shipments.
• Update ERP/MRP systems with current order information.
• Coordinate with internal teams to prioritize critical materials.
• Maintain documentation of supplier communications and performance.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
