Job summary

Hut 8 is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer in Miami to own and execute key P2P processes across engineering, construction, finance, and legal. You will coordinate deliveries, validate terms, and maintain orderly purchasing records while optimizing cash flow and reducing risk in a fast-paced infrastructure environment.

The role requires 2–3 years in supply chain ops with ERP experience and a Mandarin proficiency, based at our Brickell headquarters in Miami.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (equivalent experience considered).
• 2–3 years of experience in supply chain operations, procure-to-pay, logistics coordination, or project-based supply chain environments.
• Mandarin fluency (native or advanced).
• Experience managing purchase orders, expediting suppliers, and coordinating deliveries.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple high-value orders simultaneously.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Odoo).

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the full procure-to-pay lifecycle from purchase requests to invoice reconciliation and closeout.
• Serve as central coordination point between Engineering, Construction, suppliers, Finance/AP and Legal.
• Validate scope, pricing, specs, delivery terms, tax treatment, and approvals before PO issuance.
• Issue and track purchase orders in ERP systems per internal controls.
• Monitor payment milestones and align PO terms with delivery and invoicing.
• Maintain clean, auditable purchasing records.
• Proactively expedit suppliers, confirm production schedules, and track long-lead equipment.
• Identify risk indicators and escalate deviations to ensure project schedules.
• Develop standardized P2P workflows and improve templates and dashboards.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Supply Chain Engineer supports Hut 8’s growing infrastructure portfolio by owning and executing key elements of the procure-to-pay (P2P) lifecycle, delivery assurance, and logistics coordination.

This role ensures that purchase orders are accurately issued, partners close with suppliers to ensure delivery, materials are delivered on time and in compliance with project requirements, and payment processes remain aligned with contractual milestones.

The Supply Chain Engineer works cross-functionally with Engineering, Construction, Finance/AP, Legal, and Operations to improve order accuracy, payment flow, logistics visibility, and material availability while minimizing execution risk across capital projects.

Some of the responsibilities you can expect include the following

• Own and support the full procure-to-pay lifecycle from purchase request intake through invoice reconciliation and closeout
• Serve as a central coordination point between Engineering, Construction, suppliers, Finance/AP, and Legal
• Validate scope, pricing, specifications, delivery terms, tax treatment, and approvals prior to PO issuance
• Issue and track purchase orders in ERP systems in alignment with internal controls and approval workflows
• Monitor payment milestones and ensure alignment between PO terms, delivery status, and invoice submissions
• Maintain clean and auditable purchasing records

Logistics & Delivery Coordination

• Proactively expedite suppliers to confirm production schedules, manufacturing progress, and committed ship dates
• Track long-lead and critical-path equipment to ensure alignment with project schedules
• Identify early risk indicators including capacity constraints, sub-supplier delays, inspection issues, or logistics bottlenecks
• Escalate schedule deviations and coordinate corrective actions
• Maintain detailed delivery trackers with real-time visibility into production, shipment, and site receipt status

Process Improvement & Controls

• Develop and maintain standardized P2P workflows and expediting procedures
• Create and improve templates, trackers, dashboards, and logistics reporting tools
• Identify process bottlenecks in purchasing, delivery, or payment flow
• Recommend improvements to reduce risk, increase visibility, and improve cash flow timing

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
• 2-3 years of experience in supply chain operations, procure-to-pay, logistics coordination, or project-based supply chain environments
• Mandarin (Native or Fluent)
• Demonstrated experience managing purchase orders, expediting suppliers, and coordinating deliveries
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple high-value orders simultaneously
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving infrastructure or industrial environment
• Preferred: Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Odoo)
