Job summary

AdventHealth in Killeen, TX is hiring for a full-time Materials Handler responsible for receiving, stocking, and distributing supplies. You will manage par levels, process replenishments, and ensure accurate record-keeping in ERP systems, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

The role requires basic math, attention to detail, and clear English communication with clinicians. Prior experience with inventory, MS Office tools, and ERP is preferred; high school graduate or equivalent

Qualifications

• Basic math skills and attention to detail are required.
• Proficiency in English communication with clinicians.
• Experience with MS Office and ERP systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and inventory concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Picks up return items and performs daily par cart inventories.
• Creates non-stock supply requisitions as needed.
• Keeps par areas orderly, stocked, and properly tagged.
• Delivers supplies to designated locations following routes.
• Maintains clean, safe, and organized warehouse space.
• Completes replenishment/picking tasks and related computer records.
• Delivers packages and communicates delivery info to recipients.
• Assists with item locations, labels, and par layout updates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

***Monday- Friday, 730a-4p***

• Picks up return items following established guidelines and performs daily par cart inventories, picks orders, confirms orders, and delivers supplies to assigned par areas.
• Creates requisitions for non-stock supplies as needed in assigned par areas.
• Ensures par areas are orderly, properly tagged, and sufficiently stocked to meet customer needs.
• Properly disburses all materials to various locations in the facility as assigned in a timely manner following any established route and schedule, with special attention to refrigerated supplies and overnight packages.
• Maintains warehouse and other assigned areas in a clean, safe, and organized manner.
• Accurately completes the replenishment/picking process, including all associated computer software tasks to ensure accurate record keeping.
• Delivers supplies and packages to customers, taking care to obtain location delivery information.
• Maintains conversion items and substitutes, communicating with clinical and departmental staff.
• Assists with updating item locations and labels associated with product conversions.
• Participates in the design or maintenance of par location item layout.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Possess basic math skills. [Required]

• Communicates clearly and effectively in English. Can communicate directly with clinicians. [Required]
• Has computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. [Required]
• Can identify, sort and count accurately. [Required]

• Understands medical terminology and products. [Preferred]
• Demonstrates knowledge of inventory, receiving, replenishment and par level concepts. [Preferred]
• Ability to operate material handling equipment. [Preferred]

Education:

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience:

• 1+ years related experience [Required]
• 6 months in customer service setting [Preferred]
• 6 months in supply chain [Preferred]
• ERP experience [Preferred]
