Overview

Relate Search has partnered with a leading organization in the beverage industry to recruit a strategic Supply Chain Director. This executive will play a critical role on the leadership team, reporting directly to the President, and will oversee all facets of the supply chain. From long-term planning to technology adoption and sustainability, this role will drive enterprise-wide efficiency and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long-term supply chain strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Optimize network design (manufacturing, distribution, sourcing) for cost, service, and sustainability.
• Build strategic partnerships with key logistics suppliers and support sourcing and contract negotiations.
• Oversee integrated business planning (IBP) and S&OP processes to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory optimization.
• Identify vulnerabilities, develop contingency plans, and ensure resilience against supply chain disruptions.
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and service levels; monitor performance metrics like OTIF and inventory turns.
• Implement sustainable sourcing and packaging practices; ensure compliance with trade regulations and ethical standards.
• Lead digital transformation through advanced analytics, automation, and AI in supply chain processes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, manufacturing, finance, and commercial teams to align supply chain with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or manufacturing leadership.
• Strong knowledge of planning tools and ERP systems.
• Certifications in APICS, Six Sigma, or Lean highly desirable.
• Proven ability to lead multi-site operations and manage complex projects.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.
