Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation seeks a Supply Chain Sustainability and Compliance Analyst to lead Scope 3 emissions efforts, manage supplier sustainability and trade compliance, and drive regulatory alignment across the supply chain. The role interfaces with sustainability and procurement, and requires collaboration across departments.

The position is office-based in Milwaukee, WI with 20% travel to Sensient operations and supplier sites worldwide as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a field related to supply chain(sustainability/environmental science)
• Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks (SASB, TCFD, ESRS, CDP) preferred
• Experience in supply chain, sourcing, or corporate sustainability preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication, time management and prioritization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and compliance

Responsibilities

• Lead Scope 3 emissions management focusing on purchased goods, services, and transportation; collaborate with R&D, Procurement and stakeholders to implement reductions.
• Manage supplier sustainability, risk and trade compliance including supplier and raw material assessments, onboarding, sanctions screening, traceability, tariffs, and compliance testing.
• Lead regulatory compliance in sustainability and procurement (CSRD, CSDDD, EUDR, state EPR); support audits with local business units.
• Engage with suppliers and customers to assess performance, communicate expectations, and drive improvement across materials, emissions, water, waste, and social impact.
• Embed sustainability into procurement and sourcing; develop training and materials for Procurement; integrate sustainability into RFPs and sourcing decisions.

The Supply Chain Sustainability and Compliance Analyst is responsible for developing supply chain sustainability initiatives, coordinating the Company’s efforts to track and manage supply chain emissions, assessing sustainability and compliance risks within the supply chain, and overseeing supply chain sustainability management systems. This position works closely with both our sustainability and procurement teams and interacts with all departments in the organization to develop and advance Sensient’s sustainability strategy and supply chain legal compliance.

This position is office-based in Milwaukee, WI with travel to Sensient operations and supplier sites worldwide as need requires. 20% travel.

What you will do:

• Lead Scope 3 emissions management, focusing on purchased goods and services and transportation, and collaborate with R&D, Procurement, and other stakeholders to develop and implement emissions reduction plans.
• Manage supplier sustainability, risk, and trade compliance, including supplier and raw material assessments, onboarding requirements, sanctions screening, supply tracing, tariff matters, related systems, and compliance testing.
• Lead sustainability and procurement regulatory compliance, including CSRD, CSDDD, EUDR, state-level EPR requirements, and other applicable regulations; partner with local business units to support sustainability audits.
• Engage with suppliers and customers to assess performance and legal compliance, communicate expectations, and drive improvements across raw materials, emissions, water, waste, social impact, and other supply chain sustainability priorities.
• Embed sustainability into procurement and sourcing, serving as the supply chain sustainability subject matter expert, incorporating sustainability into RFPs and sourcing decisions, partnering with R&D and Sourcing on sustainable raw material selection, and developing training and educational materials for Procurement.
• Strengthen procurement governance and processes, including supplier standards, contracts, documentation, risk management, legal requirements, and policies that support compliance and mitigate risk; manage RFPs for Legal, Global Security, and sustainability initiatives.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Supply Chain, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks, including SASB, TCFD, the EU’s ESRS, and CDP, is preferred but not required.
• Experience in supply chain, sourcing, corporate sustainability, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent time management and the ability to effectively prioritize competing demands.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to compliance.
