Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking an experienced data analytics professional to develop and model data to inform supply chain solutions and improve decision making. You will analyze data, forecast demand, and support readiness through advanced modeling and visualization tools.

The role requires strong quantitative skills, extensive experience with Python/SQL/Tableau, and the ability to interact with senior leaders while supporting mission-critical initiatives in a government contracting setting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in technical fields such as operations research, math, engineering, data analytics.
  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, industrial base analysis or acquisition support.
  • 8+ years of experience in Python, SQL, and Tableau for data exploration and analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience using modeling and simulation tools for supply chain forecasting.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and research skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, inspects, mines, transforms, and models data to inform supply chain solutions and improve decision making.
  • Conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis to generate insights and forecast supply/demand, inventory, readiness, and other metrics.
  • Maintains analytical systems, verifies data accuracy, and liaises with business managers.
  • Evaluates, visualizes, and analyzes data sets.
  • Works with modeling and simulation tools to develop data for AI/ML models.
  • Recommends operational plans and strategies to impact functional results.
  • Improves existing processes and systems through conceptualizing and interpretation.

Responsibilities:

Develops, inspects, mines, transforms, and models data to inform supply chain solutions, increase efficiencies, mitigate risk, improve decision making, and gain competitive advantage to support supply chain and logistics business initiatives.

Conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis on data to generate insights to identify supply/demand forecasts, inventory requirements, readiness degraders, and other key supply chain metrics.

Maintains analytical systems, verifies the accuracy of the data, and acts as liaison with business managers

Evaluating, visualizing, and performing analysis on data sets

Working with existing modeling and simulation (M&S) tools to develop data for new AI/ML models

Recommends operational plans and strategies that will directly impact the achievement of overall functional results

Responsible for improving existing processes and systems using significant conceptualizing, reasoning and interpretation

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in technical fields such as operations research, math, engineering, data analytics
  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, industrial base analysis or acquisition support.
  • 8+ years of experience in using analytic tools such as Python, SQL, and Tableau to perform data exploration and analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience using modeling and simulation tools for supply chain and logistics forecasting tools.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and research skills.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance; U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • This position requires the successful applicant to obtain and maintain the required security clearance or other authorization(s) within the necessary timeframe required by applicable contract(s).
  • Proven ability to utilize extensive analysis to seek understanding problems.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders.
