Job summary

Vincent Sheppard is seeking a motivated Supply Chain Coordinator for our U.S. Offices in High Point, NC. This onsite role coordinates purchasing, logistics, and supplier relationships to ensure timely deliveries and accurate records across our U.S. operations.

You will manage purchase orders, monitor inventory, track shipments, and collaborate with warehouse and finance teams. Flexibility during Furniture Market is expected as part of operations support.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or admin work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
  • Experience with ERP or procurement systems (Business Central) preferred.
  • Experience in logistics, inventory management, or warehouse coordination.
  • Knowledge of shipping documentation and transportation processes.
  • Forklift certification may be required; valid driver’s license needed.
  • Ability to work flexible hours during Furniture Market.

Job description

For over 30 years, Vincent Sheppard has been a reference in the Belgian furniture industry. Driven by a sustainable mindset and passion for craftsmanship, we design and produce iconic and comfortable furniture for indoors and outdoors. Our company is market leader in Paper Loom furniture and offers a wide range of furniture made from other materials.

Our headquarters are located in Spiere-Helkijn, Belgium, and we have our own production site in Indonesia. To continue our international growth, we are looking for a motivated Supply Chain Coordinator for our U.S. Offices in High Point, NC location. This role is onsite and reports to the U.S. Operations Manager (no remote or hybrid).

Position Summary

The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for the primary areas of Purchasing and Logistics. The purchasing function includes processing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. The logistics function includes being responsible managing the flow of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. This role works closely with warehouse leadership to ensure products are received, stored, and shipped accurately and on time.

Responsibilities
  • Process and manage purchase orders to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Source, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Obtain and compare quotations to identify the best value and quality.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities.
  • Track shipments and resolve delivery delays or discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, and procurement reports.
  • Collaborate with finance to reconcile invoices and address purchasing issues.
  • Schedule and coordinate incoming deliveries and outgoing pickups.
  • Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Assist in improving workflows and achieving departmental goals.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, operations, and inside sales teams, and support outside sales team.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and relevant regulations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve supplier performance.
  • Communication with clients as needed.
  • Ability to cross-train and support all warehouse tasks.
Qualifications
  • 1 to 3 years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or administrative experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience with ERP or procurement systems (Business Central) preferred.
  • Experience in logistics, inventory management, or warehouse coordination.
  • Knowledge of shipping documentation and transportation processes.
  • Ability to assist with unloading containers of furniture when needed.
  • Ability to work in the warehouse when needed, including assembling furniture.
  • Ability to obtain a forklift certification.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work flexible hours during Furniture Market.
