Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Supply Chain Contracts Professional to manage procurement contracts for aircraft subsystems within Army Aviation programs. Onsite role supporting cross-functional teams in engineering, manufacturing, and finance.

You will evaluate suppliers, prepare RFPs, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with ITAR/EAR regulations while driving long-term supply chain objectives.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Strategic Sourcing, Supplier and Commodity Management, supplier relationships, Contracts, Supply Chain Management, project management.
  • Analytical experience in a commodity.
  • Supply chain management in new product development.
  • Experience applying Six Sigma / Lean Principles / Tools.
  • Proficient business acumen.
  • Ability to deal well with ambiguity.
  • Experience negotiating.
  • Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures compliance with all government contracting regulations and internal administrative requirements with all activities

We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation aircraft.

This position is onsite at our Headquarters in Fort Worth, TX (3255 Bell Flight Blvd Fort Worth, TX 76118) and will support Bell’s Aircraft Product Development Programs.

Supply Chain - Contracts

Bring your experience and ideas to establish optimal long-term and high-dollar procurement contracts that enables the Supply Chain Organization and Programs to achieve its strategic objectives. You'll work directly with the Integrated Products Team Lead and Program Team to identify and contract with the appropriate sources for new and existing aircraft subsystems.

What you’ll be doing as a Supply Chain Contracts Professional:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Technology/Management, Engineering, Finance, Accounting or related degree. Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years' of general supply chain procurement and/or management experience
