Job summary

AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing is seeking a Supply Chain Management College Co-op to support plant SCM activities, review reports, and help streamline data processes. This paid co-op offers exposure to cross-functional teams in a fast-paced automotive environment.

You will assist with reporting, data integrity, and supplier/customer issue resolution while gaining hands-on experience in a global manufacturing setting. Minimum 25 hours/week required; serious applicants only.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate Supply Chain/Business Administration Program.
• Graduation date of December 2026 or later preferred.
• Able to work a minimum of 25 hours per week.
• Familiarity with basic supply chain principles required.
• Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Prior work/intern/Co-op experience in Supply Chain/Business Administration is preferred.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support Plant Supply Chain Management team.
• Review and update internal reports to support consolidation of plant metrics
• Improve and streamline reporting process as possible
• Ensures the integrity of plant data and monitors all applicable reports
• Assists with the resolution of supplier and customer issues
• Run projects as they are provided by the SCM team
• Supports the annual physical inventory and cycle-counting processes
• Work closely with other departments within the organization
• All other duties as assigned
