Job summary

Medline Industries in Newark, Delaware is seeking a warehouse associate to perform material handling, input daily item orders, and conduct stock checks to support timely order fulfillment.

You will manage inventory, rotate stock, receive inbound materials, label items, and assist customers while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Read and communicate in English to perform daily stock checks and input orders.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail for inventory accuracy.

• Assist customers while maintaining high level of service; keep work areas clean and organized.

Job SummaryPerform material handling duties including operating of equipment for product receiving, disbursement, inventory checks, and other basic inventory management functions.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Input daily item orders and perform daily stock checks as well as customer pickups as needed.Ensure inventory items are counted, rotated and replenished daily and all procedures are followed.Stock and inventory product on carts or within assigned areas and manages par levels. Check for compromised products and expired inventory.Receive inbound materials and marks materials with identifying information; record amount of material received; sort materials and stock on racks, shelves or bins in accordance with predetermined sequence such as size, color, type, or product code. Arrange materials for order assembly.Quality control, moving carts to and from loading docks, and operation of material handling equipment as needed.Assist with any customer requests while maintaining a high level of customer service.Housekeeping duties including all forms of onsite cleanup.Requirements:1 to 3 months of related work or training.Must be able to read and communicate in English.Must have basic math skills (addition/subtraction) and strong interpersonal/relationship building skills.Must have a high sense of urgency and be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.Preferred Requirements:High school diplomaAt least 1 year experience working in a hospital environment.Medline Industries, LP, and its subsidiaries, offer a competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.The anticipated salary range for this position:$17.25 - $25.00 HourlyThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.
