Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Supply Chain Clerk (PRN) to count, stock, and deliver medical supplies across departments. You will replenish par carts, inspect items for accuracy, and ensure timely distribution to support uninterrupted patient care.

The role requires basic computer skills and a high school diploma, with preferred 1 year in supply chain. duties include receiving, inventory control, and collaboration with clinical staff.

Qualifications

• One year of supply chain experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to reconcile PO/packing slips with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Count and stock items received into the hospital.
• Replenish par stocking locations and carts; deliver to departments.
• Process inbound receipts and outbound shipments with proper documentation.
• Inspect and prepare equipment and supplies for use; ensure safety and readiness.
• Maintain organized storage and inventory accuracy through counts and audits.
• Provide courteous service to hospital departments to support operations.

Job Overview:

The Supply Chain Tech is responsible for counting and stocking items received into the hospital to facilitate an uninterrupted flow of materials and equipment. Replenishes received products into their assigned par stocking location in the department. Stocks and replenishes par carts, cleans storeroom, and delivers all medical supplies to the ordering departments. Cleans rental equipment and picks up from the medical floors. Processes receipts of all inbound freight by packing slip and purchase order, as well as processing outbound shipments from the hospital. Obtains signatures for items delivered to ensure proper documentation for processing payment.

General Responsibilities:

• Inspect, clean, test, and distribute patient care equipment, ensuring functionality and compliance.
• Process code carts by restocking supplies, verifying expiration dates, and maintaining readiness.
• Receive, inspect, and document incoming supplies and equipment, verifying accuracy against packing slips.
• Identify and route damaged equipment for repair, ensuring all items meet safety and inspection standards.
• Maintain inventory levels through stocking, cycle counts, inventory audits, and accurate recordkeeping.
• Deliver inventory, non-inventory, rental, and STAT supplies promptly to hospital departments.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe receiving, storage, and distribution areas.
• Provide excellent customer service while collaborating with departments to support hospital operations.

• Ability to reconcile numbers/nomenclature in PO’s & packing slips with accuracy.
