Alan B. Miller Medical Center in Palm Beach Gardens, FL is hiring a Receiving Clerk - Supply Chain for a full-time role.

You will manage accurate receiving, storage, distribution of medical supplies, maintain Min/Max levels, perform inventories, and support shipping for outgoing deliveries. Cross-training and occasional rotation to other supply chain areas may occur to support hospital operations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Skills: Communication- communicates clearly and concisely.
• Customer orientation - establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations.
• Interpersonal Skills - able to work effectively with other employees, supervisors and external parties.
• Policies and Procedures - demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems.
• Basic Skills- demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, able to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate properly, spell correctly and transcribe accurately.

• This role ensures timely replenishment and availability of supplies in all stocking locations, including storerooms and point of use areas.
• The technician also reviews and maintains Min/Max inventory levels, conducts scheduled physical inventories, and supports shipping activities for outgoing deliveries.
• This position may be cross-trained and required to float to other supply chain or support areas as needed.

Alan B. Miller Medical Center

A neighborhood hospital with medical center excellence! The new state-of-the-art hospital will join UHS' growing regional network of healthcare operations which includes Wellington Regional Medical Center, the ER at Westlake (an extension of Wellington Regional Medical Center), Wellington Physicians Urgent Care and other healthcare services and access points. The Alan B. Miller Medical Center will feature 150 private patient rooms, a medical office building and a helistop. Upon completion of the initial phase of the project, the hospital campus will include 365,000 square feet of hospital and medical office space. The new Medical Center will offer comprehensive medical services including Emergency Care, Orthopedics and Surgical Services, Oncology, Cardiovascular and Neurosurgical services. In addition, the campus will be home to medical office buildings that will provide outpatient services.
