Overview

This role can be located anywhere and will support all PepsiCo Beverage North America (PBNA) manufacturing locations.

The Supply Chain Capability Sr. Manager is a key leader within PepsiCo Beverages North America (PBNA). This role is responsible for leading the development and execution of Focused Improvement (FI) implementation plans to surpass the objectives set by PBNA Sector & Division leadership teams.

This role provides overall coordination for implementing the FI Pillar across all PBNA manufacturing locations in North America. It ensures alignment of internal and external resources with business priorities such as Safety, Quality, Production Efficiency, Cost, and Customer Service.

The role supports and leads FI pillar implementation, productivity improvements, and loss elimination initiatives at all PBNA manufacturing sites across North America. It also involves developing training and building capabilities within Sector, Unit, and Pod roles to enhance PBNA productivity. Additionally, it collaborates with Sector, Unit, and Pod LSS resources on Loss Analysis, Efficiency Improvement, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and manufacturing change-over capabilities. The role also supports continuous improvement of downtime reporting systems (e.g., PTS, ZPI) to improve data integrity and productivity tactics.

Responsibilities

This position will assist PBNA leadership (Sector, Unit, and Pod) in expanding and accelerating the implementation of FI loss elimination processes and methodologies.

  1. Manage the measurement of FI KPIs: True Efficiency (TE), Running Efficiency (RE), Planned TE Losses (Flavor, Package, Sanitation Change-overs), and Unplanned TE Losses (Process Upsets, Rate Losses). Integrate these metrics into PBNA scorecards and dashboards. Lead site development and data input for TE & RE standards during the AOP process.
  2. Act as the PBNA SME for FI Pillar. Own training content and manage the FI Pillar Curricula By Role (CBR) training process, including content, tracking, enrollment, and completion. Lead mentorship of Process Improvement Engineers (PIEs) within the CBR process.
  3. Support development and integration of FI Loss Analysis and RCA principles across all sites.
  4. Maintain communication channels between PBNA Pillar Leaders and manufacturing facilities to share best practices and ensure consistent capability development.
  5. Develop, train, and execute the Site FI Pillar Assessment process.
  6. Understand and apply financial drivers and Manufacturing & Warehousing KPIs.

Percent Travel: 5-10%

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary range: $118,700 - $198,800, depending on location, skills, experience, and education.
  • Performance-based bonus: 15% of annual salary.

Qualifications
  • Thorough knowledge of processing and packing equipment to lead technical resources effectively.
  • Extensive knowledge of TPM principles, Focused Improvement (FI) processes, and TPM pillars such as Safety, Quality, Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, and Early Management.
  • Experience leading multi-site TPM implementations.
  • Formal LSS Green Belt certification minimum.
  • Strong understanding of TPM approach to fostering a frontline engaged manufacturing culture.
  • Experience developing and executing TPM-related training for hourly and salaried staff.
  • Demonstrated influence and change management skills.
  • Previous people management experience at a departmental level.
  • Strong financial control skills for cost and capital planning.
  • Self-starter with strategic development skills aligned with business vision.
  • Effective communication skills across all organizational levels, with the ability to influence.
  • Technical understanding of food/beverage manufacturing processes and compliance (preferred).
  • Ability to travel.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of Food & Beverage Manufacturing experience with TPM expertise.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred.
