Supply Chain Buyer Associate

Location: Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico (location is non-negotiable)

Job Description

The Supply Chain Buyer Associate will work directly with the client and its suppliers to procure parts for clients manufacturing process and track deliveries of parts to client’s warehouse. The Supply Chain Buyer Associate will communicate with the internal management to assists in the development, clarification and definition of end-user requirements; assists clients to define the processes applicable to the category of services being procured. This role will also be responsible for processing daily transactions and administrative functions to complete client/internal management deliverables within our service level agreements (SLA’s).

Job Responsibilities

+ Executes activities related to supply chain functions and ensures that daily targets are met and quality is maintained as per service level agreements/operations metrics

+ Adhere to Client's procurement policies and procedures.

+ Receive and validates incoming requisitions for order placement

+ Execute fulfillment operations through order management

+ Generate Sales Orders (Purchase Order placement), manage supply chain processes, client focal

+ Perform assigned tasks with efficiency and accuracy

+ Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and suppliers

+ Adapt quickly to new tasks and priorities

+ Ensure timely completion of duties with a sense of urgency

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to solve problems and meet objectives for efficient operations

Job Qualifications

+ Must be a US Citizen

Basic Qualifications

+ Minimum of 6-months relevant Supply Chain/Client work experience and/or Procurement/Purchasing/Buyer experience

+ Minimum of 1-year working knowledge experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

+ Supply Chain experience preferred

+ Strong negotiation skills

+ Microsoft Office experience to include Excel, Access, Outlook

+ Experience with SAP

+ Basic understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
