Job description

Supply Chain Business Analytics – Senior Analyst

Location Plano, Texas, 75024 Category Technology, Data & Analytics Job Id 10334457 Posted Date 10/01/2026

Collaborative. Respectful. A place to dream and do. These are just a few words that describe what life is like at Toyota. As one of the world’s most admired brands, Toyota is growing and leading the future of mobility through innovative, high-quality solutions designed to enhance lives and delight those we serve. We’re looking for talented team members who want to Dream. Do. Grow. with us.

Toyota does not offer support or sponsorship of job applicants for employment-based visas or any other work authorization for this role now or in the future. You must have the right to work in the United States and not require Toyota support or sponsorship for immigration-related employment (e.g., H-1B, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, F-1 CPT, ‘job flexibility benefits’ [also known as I-140 or Adjustment of Status portability], etc.) now or in the future. You should not apply for this role if you will require Toyota to assist with immigration support or sponsorship now or in the future.

This position is based out of Toyota North American Headquarters in Plano, TX

Who We’re Looking For

Toyota’s Digital Innovations organization is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Senior Analysts to join our Supply Chain Business Analytics team. If you’re passionate about deep diving into data to uncover hidden insights that drive critical business decisions, this is the team for you.

The primary responsibility of this role is to empower users by delivering insightful data, practical tools, and expert knowledge that enable them to achieve their goals, serving as frontline support for the Supply Chain organization in leveraging data and business intelligence tools effectively. Reporting to the Supply Chain Business Analytics Manager, you’ll help drive insights from diverse data sources to promote a data‑driven Supply Chain organization.

How We Work
  • Fusion teams. You’ll sit on a fusion team that blends business and technology talent as one team, not separate functions handing work back and forth.
  • AI and emerging tools. Using AI and other emerging tools to work smarter is part of the job, not an occasional add on. We’re looking for someone who’s curious about better ways of getting the work done.
  • Experimentation. We expect you to test new tools and new ways of working as a matter of course, not just follow the existing playbook.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead end-to-end analytics projects focused on supply chain performance to drive data-informed decisions, optimize supply chain operations, and support business growth
  • Clean and wrangle data, handling missing values, duplicates, and outliers; expect this to take up 70 to 80% of your time on any given project
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define analytics requirements, understand challenges, and deliver impactful solutions
  • Analyze large, complex datasets, including through AI-assisted analysis, to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and data models using BI tools, advanced analytics techniques, and emerging AI capabilities
  • Support change management efforts, including training, communication plans, and product adoption, for end users on analytics tools and methodologies
  • Support problem investigation and ad hoc requests for a diverse set of Supply Chain stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional groups across Toyota
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI and other emerging tools to improve how the team analyzes data and delivers insights
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data and Analytics, Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience
  • Strong coding fundamentals in Python, comfortable using standard data science libraries such as pandas for data manipulation and NumPy for numerical computation
  • Proficient in SQL, including writing queries, joins, aggregate functions such as GROUP BY, and filtering to pull what you need from a database
  • Understanding of core machine learning algorithms, such as linear regression, logistic regression, and decision trees, and the ability to implement them using libraries like scikit-learn
  • Foundational knowledge of statistics, including hypothesis testing, p-values, A/B testing basics, and probability, so data doesn’t get misread
  • Experience with Git (GitHub preferred), including cloning, branching, committing, and pushing code, to collaborate with engineering and data teams
  • Strong data cleaning and wrangling skills using tools like Alteryx or Python, including handling missing values, duplicates, and outliers
  • Ability to build clean, straightforward visualizations using tools like Matplotlib, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Curiosity to experiment and adopt new tools and ways of working, including AI and other emerging technologies
  • Experience using AI tools, such as generative AI or large language models, to accelerate your own analysis and daily work
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Added Bonus If You Have
  • Supply Chain Experience
  • Familiar with Supply Chain Business Systems
  • Data Engineering or Data Management background
  • Experience working on or with Scrum teams
  • Experience building AI-powered tools or automations, such as custom GPTs, AI agents, or embedding AI into dashboards and workflows, that extend analytics capability beyond your own use
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects
