  • Write clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria specific to inventory transactions and reporting.
  • Apply forecasting methods and warehousing best practices to optimize inventory management.
  • Support vendor selection, coordination of demos, requirements gathering, testing, and ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure audit trail integrity and SOX compliance.
  • Assist with system implementation, including test planning, UAT support, data cleansing, item master validation, and post-go-live support.
  • Identify training needs and adoption risks; develop training materials and user guides as needed.
Core Competencies
  • Business and systems analysis with ability to document and translate business requirements into system specifications.
  • End-to-end understanding of inventory processes and transaction flows.
  • Skilled in creating clear process documentation and value stream maps.
  • Able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
  • Analytical thinking with attention to detail.
  • Understanding of core modules in supply chain and inventory systems.
  • Awareness of system integration components like APIs and middleware with ERP and logistics platforms.
  • Familiarity with KPIs such as inventory turnover, shrinkage, reorder points, and cycle counts.
  • Ability to define system-specific test cases for inventory transactions (receipts, adjustments, returns).
  • Experience supporting vendor systems implementation and systems integration across platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of replenishment strategies, safety stock, demand forecasting, and warehouse operations.
  • Understanding of financial implications tied to costing methods (FIFO, LIFO, weighted average).
  • Experience with audit trails, SOX controls, and compliance processes.
  • Master data governance (SKU standardization) and collaboration with teams on reporting needs (forecasting, visibility, performance KPIs).
  • Adaptable documentation style based on delivery method (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Ability to define and execute UAT, including user story validation and system behavior testing.
  • Experienced in mapping, cleansing, and validating item master data and stock balances.
  • Capable of driving adoption through change management, user training, and support planning.
Required Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management roles.
  • Hands-on experience implementing or supporting WMS, ERP, or inventory planning tools.
  • Background working with cross-functional project teams, especially involving IT and Operations.
  • Strong understanding of procurement, fulfillment, and vendor management processes.
Preferred Experience
