Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Supply Chain Flow & Automation Analyst to enhance analytics, automation, and decision-support across planning, inventory, procurement, manufacturing, transportation, and distribution. The role emphasizes building dashboards, optimizing SQL, and developing Python automation to reduce manual work.

The candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable insights, ensure data quality, and support data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of directly related experience.
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• 2 Years of Relevant Experience.
• Work Schedule: 8:00AM- 5:00PM (Monday-Friday).
• Work Location: Onsite - Fort Worth, TX (Main).
• Relocation Assistance/Sponsorship: None.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance supply chain analytics, reporting, and decision-support solutions.
• Gather and translate business requirements into dashboards, reports, automation workflows, alerts, and recommendations.
• Build and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts and automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes.
• Create and support scalable data models, dashboards, and self-service reporting tools using platforms such as Aera, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, and Excel.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve existing analytics, automation, and decision-support solutions.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability through testing, reconciliation, and validation activities.
• Document business processes, data flows, technical solutions, and testing results to support governance and knowledge transfer.
• Present analytical findings, risks, and recommendations to business stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency within the supply chain.
