Job description

Job Responsibilities
  • Schedule pick-up and delivery appointments for inbound and outbound freight, including shipments with hazmat.
  • Ensure compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT), International Air Transport Association (IATA), International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) and other relevant regulations regarding the safe handling and shipping of hazardous materials.
  • Track On-Time Pick-Up (OTP) and On-Time Delivery (OTD).
  • Notify dealers of delivery appointments and solicit feedback on shipments to improve service.
  • Collaborate with other sites to manage stock transfer orders efficiently.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders via e-mail and phone while providing exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries promptly.
  • Coordinate international shipments, completing all required documentation and ensuring timely pick-up.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing to schedule inbound imported freight (CL, LCL, Air) and monitor the status.
  • Support the Operations Leadership Team by producing and distributing various reports.
  • Review performance against contractual commitments, estimating and calculating delays and risks related to different shipments and schedules in terms of cost.
  • Compile data, maintain carrier scorecards, and participate in Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Complete other duties as assigned to support the overall logistics and operations strategy.
  • Address and resolve issues related to shipments, claims, damages, etc.
Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced work environment.
  • SAP, WMS or TMS experience required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Working knowledge of HAZMAT regulations and safe handling practices including IMDG and IATA.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least three years related experience required within supply chain operations, or related field.
