About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Operations & Supply Chain Consultant to provide part-time, strategic and tactical support to our clients. This role is ideal for an operations professional who can quickly assess challenges, optimize supply chain processes, formulate solutions, and drive execution—without requiring a full-time commitment.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate current operations, logistics, and supply chain workflows; identify pain points and opportunities for improvement
• Advise on and implement best practices for inventory management, demand planning, and procurement
• Support warehouse/3PL selection, onboarding, and performance optimization
• Assist with ERP, order management, or inventory system selection and/or integration
• Establish or refine SOPs for production planning, fulfillment, and vendor management
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment between operations, finance, and sales
• Provide ad hoc reporting and KPI tracking to measure operational efficiency
• Offer ongoing strategic advisory or hands-on execution, depending on evolving needs
  

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in operations and supply chain
• Knowledge of direct-to-consumer (DTC) order management and fulfillment
• Demonstrated success optimizing logistics, inventory, 3PL performance, and ERP systems
• Familiarity with retail partners (e.g., Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus) and EDI systems
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and flexibly with fast-moving teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Consulting experience or comfort working in a fractional/contractor capacity preferred
