Job summary

The Supply Chain Analyst Intern at L'OCCITANE Group (B Corp) will contribute to automating and digitizing our transportation processes in a hybrid Newark-area environment. You will liaise between transportation, lean engineering, and IT teams to identify opportunities and drive improvements.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's in business or engineering and a track record in supply chain, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with SAP. Travel to Cranbury, NJ may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering.
• Previous internship or experience in Supply Chain.
• Excellent oral, written, presentation and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTable, VLOOKUP).
• Knowledge of SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and work with the current process for delivery KPI’s and carrier invoices.
• Analyze process issues and bottlenecks to suggest improvements to streamline current workflows.
• Identify automation opportunities within the transportation department.
• Partner with Lean Engineering and IT Team to help implement automation practices and improvements.

The intern will be part of a team to help identify new automation opportunities, analyze process issues and bottlenecks to suggest improvements. The student will be the interface between transportation and the lean engineering and IT teams.

REQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION:

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous internship or experience in Supply Chain

SKILLS:

• Excellent oral, written, presentation and communication skills needed
• Advanced computer skills in MS Excel (pivot table, vlookup)
• Knowledge of SAP preferred
• Proactivity and strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization abilities

PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

• Hybrid Role (with potential 1-2 days travel to Cranbury, NJ Distribution Center)
