Data Center Supply Chain Analyst IV – NPI Material Program Management
The Supply Chain Analyst IV will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely delivery of materials to ODM partners, supporting the execution of New Product Introduction (NPI) hardware builds for data centers and supply chain stakeholders. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can manage material readiness, streamline supply chain operations, and build strong relationships across internal and external teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Material Shortage Management: Track and resolve material shortages using CTB reports and urgent ODM requests. Proactively identify supply chain risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive resolution in collaboration with the NPI core team and supply chain engineering.
- Purchase Order Coordination: Oversee the PO process for rack hardware, L10 components, loose demand, and NRE. Manage quote collection from ODMs, track PO status, confirm hardware delivery, and ensure timely PO closure. Collaborate with commodity managers, finance, logistics, and procurement to resolve blockers.
- Budget and Spend Tracking: Partner with ODMs to monitor program spend across CAPEX/OPEX, materials, and NRE. Ensure alignment with budget and track the delivery of purchased goods while maintaining clear communication with cross-functional teams.
- Build Readiness Support: Ensure timely issuance of ODM POs aligned with standard lead times and program schedules. Escalate material risks to the program core team as needed.
- Demand and Supply Alignment: Lead ODM engagement to clarify demand and supply updates, ensuring alignment with the program’s Plan of Record.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in NPI supply chain processes. Drive standardization and implement lean practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal and external partners to align on demand forecasts and material requirements, ensuring readiness for upcoming builds.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 5-7 Years of Data Center Supply Chain Management Experience
- Experience in procurement, operations, or supply chain—ideally within the tech industry
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and drive strategic decisions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities
- Effective working independently and in cross-functional, global teams
- Strong project management and organizational skills
