Description du poste

SureWerx is a leading manufacturer of innovative safety, tool and equipment products and solutions. Since 1957, we’ve been trusted to keep all who use our products safe in even the most challenging environments. Today, our growing family of world-leading brands serves customers and partners across the U.S., Canada and Europe.

At SureWerx, you’ll have the opportunity to challenge yourself in a supportive, growth-oriented culture of industry leaders. You’ll help chart our future as we continue to expand into new products, services and markets. And we’ll invest in your career development, enabling you to grow and succeed.

SureWerx continues to grow, and as a result, we are looking for a highly analytical Supply Chain Analyst who loves finding the story hidden in the data. Supporting our businesses and brands across North America, this role will turn complex supply chain data into simple, actionable insights that help teams make better decisions. We are looking for more than someone who can build reports. The right person understands how people use data, asks the right questions, and builds tools that make opportunities, risks, and actions immediately clear. This is an ideal role for a curious, technically strong analyst who enjoys digging into the details, challenging assumptions, and turning data into better business decisions.

Based at our US Headquarters in Elgin, IL, this is a full-time, hybrid position requiring a minimum of (3) days per week onsite.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting that support Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, Inventory, Logistics, and Planning.
  • Analyze inventory health, service levels, purchasing, supplier performance, lead times, demand trends, logistics performance, and other key supply chain metrics.
  • Translate large and complex datasets into clear insights, exceptions, and recommended actions.
  • Partner with business users to understand what decisions they are trying to make and design reporting around those needs.
  • Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and root causes before they become larger business problems.
  • Improve existing reports and eliminate unnecessary or redundant reporting.
  • Develop scalable KPIs and common definitions across businesses to create greater visibility and consistency.
  • Support ad hoc analysis, scenario modeling, and problem-solving across the broader SureWerx supply chain.
  • Help improve data quality by identifying inconsistencies, gaps, and opportunities to strengthen how information is captured and used.
What Success Looks Like
  • The best work from this role will not simply tell us what happened.
  • It will help the business quickly understand:
    • What changed? Why did it change? What matters? And what should we do about it?
    • Success means leaders and teams spend less time gathering and interpreting data and more time making informed decisions.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with genuine curiosity about how businesses operate.
  • Advanced Power BI skills, including dashboard development, data modeling, Power Query, and DAX.
  • Expert-level Excel capability, including complex formulas, PivotTables, data analysis, modeling, and large datasets.
  • Ability to take an ambiguous business question and determine the data and analysis required to answer it.
  • Strong visualization skills with an understanding that the best report is not necessarily the most complex one.
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the larger business objective.
  • Experience working with ERP, planning, inventory, procurement, logistics, or other supply chain data.
Preferred Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in supply chain analytics, business intelligence, inventory analysis, operations analysis, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a multi-business, distribution, manufacturing, or consumer/industrial products environment.
  • Experience with SQL, data warehouses, ERP systems, or other business intelligence tools is a plus.
  • Understanding of inventory management, forecasting, procurement, supplier performance, and logistics concepts.
The Person We’re Looking For
  • You are a data hound.
  • You naturally want to understand why the numbers moved, whether the data makes sense, and what someone should do differently because of it.
  • You are equally comfortable digging through thousands of rows of data and sitting with a business leader to understand what information would actually help them make a better decision.
  • You do not build dashboards because someone asked for another dashboard. You build tools that make the business smarter, faster, and more proactive.
