Job summary

Shearer Supply, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. This role focuses on purchasing products, managing vendor relationships, negotiating pricing, and maintaining inventory levels across our distribution network.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and negotiation skills, an understanding of inventory management, and the ability to balance product availability with budget and profitability goals to support multiple warehouse locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities across Shearer Supply’s Residential divisions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to support company purchasing needs.
• Negotiate competitive pricing, payment terms, and vendor agreements to maximize cost savings and profitability.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to maintain appropriate stock availability.
• Work with vendors to expedite orders, resolve shortages, and address delivery delays or product availability issues.
• Balance inventory investment with customer demand, warehouse capacity, and purchasing budgets.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing efficiency, reduce costs, optimize inventory, and increase gross profit.
• Review vendor performance, pricing structures, and product availability to ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Develop and maintain purchasing reports and KPIs including inventory turnover, gross profit, purchasing performance, vendor performance, and forecasting accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal teams and management to support purchasing strategies and overall business goals.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure purchase orders and vendor information are up to date.

Shearer Supply is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. This position is responsible for purchasing products, managing vendor relationships, negotiating pricing, and maintaining appropriate inventory levels across our distribution network. The Buyer will work closely with the Residential divisions to ensure product availability, competitive costs, and efficient inventory management across all warehouse locations.

Key Responsibilities
